Ok I know I'm not good at keeping this updated at all. I have to get organized better, its all a work in progress I tell you :)

Scavenger Hunt

1.Water ~ There is a little water peeking out from under the old bridge there. Such a beautiful serene spot.    

2.Quote ~ This flower is one of those simple things that bring joy all winter as it blooms inside during those cold Grey days. 

3.Window ~ Keeping warm inside.

4.Activity ~ Moving the snow something that has had to be done alot around here this year. 

5.Page 25 of a magazine (source of inspiration)~ I love travel magazines and home decor. Seems in the decor mags page 25 was a favorite advertising page, who knew.

I do love yellow. My house is yellow! Yellow is the color of the sun and without it we'd be, well,dead...

This photo is from a summer trip to the zoo. Poor Mr. parrot in a cage. Well he seemed happy enough. Some day I'd love to see them flying around in some tropical country :)

Original

1. Removed signs and things from background using cloning tool.

2. Increased Exposure about 60%.

3. Darkened shadows about 50%.

4. Added a very slight vignette at edges of photo.

5. Warmed up the temperature slightly.

6. Heightened the contrast 25%.

Like how it looks here but still played around with different effects...

7.Added a bit of exposure to center of photo and added a texture layer.

Baking a Cake with your Child's Help

"Preheat oven. Get out bowl, spoons, and ingredients. Grease pan. Crack nuts. Remove 18 blocks and 7 toys from kitchen table. Measure 2 cups of flour. Remove Kelly's hands from flour. Wash flour off. Measure 1 more cup of flour to replace flour on floor. Put flour, baking powder, and salt in sifter. Get dustpan to brush up pieces of bowl Kelly knocked to floor. Get another bowl. Answer phone. Return. Take out greased pan. Look at Kelly. Remove grimy hands from bowl. Wash off shortening. Take greased pan and find 1/4 inch of nutshells in it. Head for Kelly who flees, knocking bowl off table. Wash kitchen floor, wash table, wash walls, wash dishes, wash Kelly. Call bakery. Lie down."

This is a photo I took for my sister In-laws jewelry. The background lighting was a bit yellow. I lowered the saturation of the color in the background, then added a texture from pareeerica.

I think that's mostly it. What do you think?
